A repair cafe is a free meeting place where community members can bring broken items and work with skilled volunteers to fix them. It’s about repairing together, learning from each other, and promoting a more sustainable approach to our belongings.

What Can We Fix?

Our skilled volunteers can help with:

– Bicycles (basic repairs and maintenance)

– Household electronics (e.g. electric fans, lamps, radios, games consoles)

– Computers and laptops

– Mobile phones

– Small household appliances (e.g. toasters, kettles, vacuum cleaners, rice cookers)

How Does It Work?

  1. Bring your broken item to the cafe
  2. You’ll be matched with an appropriate repair expert
  3. Watch and learn as they diagnose and fix your item
  4. Our volunteers will explain what they’re doing

Important Things to Know

What We Can Fix

– Basic repairs that don’t require replacement parts

Please Note

– If you know you need a specific part, please bring it with you

– Be prepared to stay and watch the repair process – it’s part of the learning experience!
