Sponsoring a digitally excluded young person can be a truly rewarding experience, providing them with the tools and resources they need to access the digital world and bridge the digital divide.

Your end of life devices can make a huge difference to someone else’s life

We reject the ITAD (IT Asset Disposal/Destruction) label. That’s not what we do.

Yes, we destroy your sensitive data, but we maintain the value and function of your devices to avoid eWaste and help people to get and stay connected.

We upskill and retrain digitally excluded young people who would otherwise slip through the cracks.

Together as a community, businesses and people can reduce their environmental impact and create a more sustainable future.

Computer repair

Here are some ways you can sponsor a digitally excluded young person:

Donate Technology:

Donating your unwanted computers, tablets and smartphones will save you the cost of disposing of them. Repairing, refurbishing and repurposing these devices can help to reduce your carbon footprint and deliver social value as part of your broader ESG strategy. More importantly your devices can help to fund our programmes to retrain digitally excluded young people to repair and refurbish computers and mobile devices. Together we can eliminate waste of natural, material, and human resources.

Provide internet access:

Sponsor a young person’s internet or mobile data subscription. This will enable them to stay connected and engage with the digital world.

Fund a toolkit for a digitally excluded young person:

To learn and practice the skills to repair electronic equipment, participants need tools. £30 is enough to provide a young person with all the basic tools they need.

Volunteer your time and expertise:

Share your knowledge and skills by volunteering to teach digital literacy classes, or mentor young people in technology-related fields. Your time and expertise can make a significant difference in their lives.

Advocate for digital inclusion:

Raise awareness about digital exclusion and advocate for policies that promote equitable access to technology and the internet for all young people. Your voice can help bring about positive change in your community.

Work experience opportunities:

Help one of our participants to build their CV by providing them with some real-life work experience – ideally that helps them to practice some of the skills they have gained from us.

Community and advocacy is at the heart of what we do

Create a community of support: Help us to Connect digitally excluded young people with peers, mentors, and role models in your organisation who can provide guidance, encouragement, and support as they navigate the digital world. This can help build their confidence and sense of belonging.

Advocate for digital equity: Champion policies and initiatives that promote digital equity, ensuring that all young people, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status, have equal access to technology and the opportunities it offers.
