Donate your old equipment

Your end of life devices can make a huge difference to someone else’s life.

Your end of life devices can make a huge difference to someone else’s life

We reject the ITAD (IT Asset Disposal/Destruction) label. That's not what we do.

Yes, we destroy your sensitive data, but we maintain the value and function of your devices to avoid eWaste and help people to get and stay connected.

We upskill and retrain digitally excluded young people who would otherwise slip through the cracks.

Together as a community, businesses and people can reduce their environmental impact and create a more sustainable future.

How your donations help

Our recent projects

ReCognition Circular provide people with basic digital skills, together with specific training on how to repair and refurbish IT equipment.

Build the circular economy:

Your tech donations will help us at ReCognition Circular to move our local community from a linear economy of take, make, break, waste to a circular economy where we ReTrain, ReUse and RePurpose.

Reduce consumption:

Our circular economy is a model of production and consumption that aims to minimise waste and maximise resource efficiency. By using computers and mobile devices for longer, we reduce demand. This means fewer of them need to be produced, so we need to extract fewer resources and we consume less energy.

End digital exclusion:

Your end-of-life devices are a valuable resource to help us to provide the skills and training to bring people in our community into the digital economy and out of poverty.

Highest Standards of Data Security and Environmental Management

When you donate your devices to ReCognition Circular you are helping helping people in the community who really need it.

ReCognition are ISO9001, 14001 and 27001 certified. So you also have peace of mind that your data will be securely wiped and that we work to the highest quality standards. For every device you donate, you will receive a certificate of data destruction.
