ReCognition Circular is excited to have received its first major donation. A collection of 50 Cisco network switches courtesy of Lunar Networks in North Wales. A huge thank you – this donation will help to make a huge difference to people’s lives.

A very special thanks to Danny O’Driscoll and all of the team at Lunar Networks. Thank you also to Chris Stephens at Circle Stock for introducing me to Danny!

We plan to use the proceeds from these items to fund a proof of concept to train digitally disadvantaged individuals in computer and mobile device repair. For more information on what ReCogntion Circular does and why, please take a look at our website.

We will be able to provide participants with a digital device and a basic tool kit. After completing our training programme, they will not only have the basic digital skills they need to apply for jobs, open bank accounts and communicate with friends and family, they will also be able to diagnose and repair common faults.

These are skills that will help them into work, or further training. With additional funding we will be able to continue working with these individuals to further enhance their skills, build their confidence and help transition them into developing a career in tech.
