What is a Repair Cafe?

A repair cafe is a free meeting place where community members can bring broken items and work with skilled volunteers to fix them. It’s about repairing together, learning from each other, and promoting a more sustainable approach to our belongings.

 What we can fix:

  • Basic repairs that don’t require replacement parts
  • Simple maintenance tasks
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Items where the fix involves reattaching, resoldering, or adjusting existing components

What we cannot fix:

  • Items requiring replacement parts (unless you bring the parts with you)

  • Devices with significant internal damage

  • Smashed phone screens

Tips for Your Visit:

  • You must book in advance using the form below
  • Items should be reasonably clean
  • For electronics, ensure batteries are charged or bring power cables
  • If you know you need a specific part, please bring it with you
  • Be prepared to stay and watch the repair process – it’s part of the learning experience!
